- CCTV footage released by Polish State Railways (PKP) captured the tractor, hauling straw bales, on the railway as barriers closed and warning lights flashed.
- The tractor driver was found to be intoxicated, according to officials.
- The train crashed through the trailers, which were still on the tracks.
- No injuries were reported, but the railway stated that the driver endangered the lives of approximately 500 people.
