Mondays with Job #3

This is the third week of my “Monday's with Job” series.

A simple idea I started to share every Monday.

One practical productivity insight to help you work better, stay focused, and finish stronger.

Because small improvements, done consistently, create big results over time.

Today, I wanted to share an experience I had last week with AI.

I was given a printed document with a lot of text and asked to transfer the content into Word so that it could be used in a digital format.

I sighed because it was a lot of words and a lot of typing.

Now, doing this the old way would take time. It could have easily taken me around 45 minutes by typing everything line by line.

Instead, I decided to experiment with AI to see if it could help.

I have been learning and experimenting different tools of AI. Everyday there is something new to learn.

I took a picture of the document and asked AI to convert it into editable text, ready for Word.

Within a few seconds, it was done. No errors. No mistakes.

All I needed to do was copy and paste.

And it was done.

What used to take almost an hour was completed in less than a minute.

It reminded me of something important:

We are no longer limited by how fast we can type or manually process information.

The real shift is how we choose to use the tools available to us.

Work is not only about effort anymore but it is about effectiveness as well.

And sometimes, working smarter is as simple as allowing technology to remove the repetitive tasks so that we can focus on what truly matters.

There are many things to learn about AI. One step at a time, makes all the difference. Connect with me on Linkedin for a free consultation in terms of AI and soft skills trainings.
