BEAUFORT: The Sabah Wildlife Department has been urged to address the threatening number of monkeys in Kg Kebulu that are jeopardising the safety of residents.
A resident, Hamim Gundim, said the 79 households in the village are worried about the overwhelming number of monkeys present among them.
He said the monkeys have damaged properties and were even daring enough to enter the houses and steal food, adding that residents feel afraid that the monkeys would get too aggressive if they tried to shoo them away.
