JOHOR BAHRU: Sabah and Sarawak need more Mobile Courts to improve access to justice, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Law and Institutional Reform) Datuk Seri Azalina Othman Said said.
According to TVS, Azalina said the initiative was important to bring court services closer to communities, particularly those in rural and remote areas.
She said the expansion of Mobile Courts would help address challenges faced by people who have difficulty travelling to existing court facilities.
Azalina said this during the handover ceremony of the new Johor Bahru Court Complex in Kota Iskandar on Tuesday.
