As the release of Thug Life approaches, anticipation among Malaysian fans is at a fever pitch.

Thug Life is an intense Tamil-language gangster action drama directed by Mani Ratnam. Set against the backdrop of a ruthless mafia world, the story follows Rangaraya Sakthivel Naicker (Kamal), a feared gang leader thought to be dead, who resurfaces to confront a new generation of criminals.

However, he faces an unexpected challenge when he discovers that his own son, Amaran (Silambarasan TR), has risen in the criminal underworld in his absence.

This revelation sets the stage for a gripping tale of power, identity and the dangerous legacy of violence passed from one generation to the next.

The film features a star-studded cast, including Trisha Krishnan, Ashok Selvan, Joju George, Abhirami, Pankaj Tripathi and Nassar. Thug Life is set to release worldwide on June 5, 2025.
