KUALA TERENGGANU - A motorcyclist sustained injuries to both hands after crashing into the glass door of the Emergency Department at Sultanah Nur Zahirah Hospital (HSNZ) here at about 3 am today.

Kuala Terengganu district police chief ACP Azli Mohd Noor said investigations found that the victim, riding a Yamaha Nouvo LC motorcycle, was believed to have been travelling from Jalan Sultan Mahmud towards the hospital’s Emergency Zone before losing control and crashing into the glass door at the hospital’s Green Zone.

He said the injured victim was taken to the emergency room for treatment before testing positive for methamphetamine.

"The victim is currently being warded at HSNZ for further treatment due to the injuries sustained,” he said in a statement today. - BERNAMA
