An early goal from Lorenzo Pellegrini proved the winner on Monday night.
Mourinho said, “The three points are important, it was also important to win with confidence and tranquility. I enjoyed all of this.
"A team coached by (Dejan) Stankovic never gives up, they have pride, b***s and sacrifice, I had talked about it with my team.
"We studied the moment to close the game and we did everything well, we only missed the 2-0. We could have panicked, but we managed with confidence against a difficult team."
