LABUAN: Member of Parliament Datuk Suhaili Abdul Rahman urged Labuan Corporation (LC) to provide a rental discount to traders occupying the upper floors of Labuan Transformation Centre (UTC) to offset their losses.
Suhaili, who made a routine visit to the UTC and talked to several traders there, said he was saddened by the plight of the traders, many of whom were struggling to make ends meet with daily sales of as low as RM30 and at times zero.
“LC should not ignore the plight of the traders from the B40 group as the government policy is to assist them.
