Tuaran: Tuaran Member of Parliament (MP), Datuk Seri Wilfred Madius Tangau will use the Asean Parliamentarians for Human Rights (APHR) network to assist the family of the victim in Kg Bukit Giling, Tamparuli here.
He is believed to be a victim of a human trafficking syndicate in Myanmar.
Madius said when asked about his actions at the parliamentary level after accompanying the victim’s family to file a police report.
As a member of APHR, Madius said he would contact parliamentarians from the relevant countries to bring the matter to their attention.
