Slam: A Legacy of Melancholic Hits
Founded in 1993, Slam became a household name in the 90s with their heartfelt ballads that resonated with music fans across Malaysia and beyond. The five-member band, featuring Shah (guitar), Lili (bass), Eddie (keyboard), Man (drums), and Zamani (vocals), reached the peak of their success with the album Kesan Terbukti in 1995.
The album produced massive hits like Gerimis Mengundang, Tak Mungkin Berpaling, Kembali Terjalin, and Nur Kasih, which became anthems for fans throughout Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia. With over 2 million units sold in Indonesia alone, Slam solidified their place in Malaysian music history.
