KOTA KINABALU: The Sabah Women’s Advisory Council (MPWS), with OGSM and the College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists Malaysia, organised a workshop on menopause and midlife women’s health on Monday to raise awareness on key health issues affecting women in this stage of life.
The programme gathered healthcare professionals and participants for expert sharing on topics including hormone therapy, bone and vaginal health, HPV management and lifestyle practices, alongside a question-and-answer session and professional networking.
MPWS said midlife women’s health issues are often under-discussed but have major impacts on wellbeing, stressing its commitment to education, advocacy and collaboration with health institutions to empower women in Sabah.
