Kota Kinabalu: This year’s Mr Sabah Bodybuilding and Physique Championship will be held at the Hongkod Koisaan Hall in KDCA, Penampang on September 15.
Sabah Bodybuilding Association president Joannes Staneslous said the competition will serve as a platform to select athletes to represent the State at the National Bodybuilding Championship in Kuala Lumpur from Oct 12-15.
The 16 categories to be held are master (age 45 above), junior 21 below (70kg below), junior 21 below (70kg above), women’s bodybuilding (open), men’s physique (170cm below), men’s physique (170cm above), women’s physique (open), light flyweight (55kg), flyweight (55.1kg-60kg), bantam weight (60.1kg-65kg), light weight (65.1kg-70kg), welterweight (70.1kg-75kg), light middleweight (75.1kg-80kg), middle weight (80.1kg-85kg), light heavyweight (85.1kg-90kg) and heavy weight (90 kg above).
Registration will begin from 7am-9am followed by pre-trial from 9am-3pm before the finals from 6pm-10pm.
