THE Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) on Thursday said that its Bagong Pilipinas pavilion at Cosmobeauté Philippines 2026 generated P58.54 million in cash and negotiated sales at the beauty trade show held on June 17 to 19 at the World Trade Center Manila.
The pavilion, led by DTI’s Competitiveness and Innovation Group, featured micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao showcasing skin care, cosmetics, fragrances, organic beauty, wellness and personal care products.
Highlights included coconut-based cosmetics under the country’s Coconut Farming and Industry Development Plan, and halal-certified beauty and wellness products.
The show is the Philippines’ top business-to-business beauty trade exhibition, giving local MSMEs access to international buyers, distributors and investors.
“This is a testament to the importance of sustained market exposure for Filipino enterprises,” said Trade Assistant Secretary Nylah Rizza Bautista.
