Kota Kinabalu: The Malaysian Council of Former Elected Representatives (Mubarak) Sabah branch declared its undivided support for Chief Minister cum Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) Chairman Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor.
Its Chairman Datuk Yussof Abdul Manan said Mubarak Sabah was ready to give its full commitment to Hajiji in navigating his Sabah Maju Jaya (SMJ) vision towards excellence.
He said the Mubarak Sabah main committee decided to fully support the Hajiji administration.
“We are optimistic and have full confidence in Hajiji leading the State towards development and progress for the benefit of Sabah and its people.
“Hajiji has proven his leadership capabilities when the State recorded its highest revenue of almost RM7 billion last year.
“In addition, the State Government under Hajiji has successfully brought in more than RM30 billion in investments, boosting the State’s economy and creating employment opportunities for the people,” he said after chairing the Mubarak Sabah Supreme Council meeting at its office, here.
Yussof said Mubarak Sabah was pleased with the commitment and efforts of Hajiji and his State Cabinet towards development and socio-economic wellbeing.
“Under the SMJ direction, we can see various development programmes and plans involving various aspects and industries, as well as long-term solutions to issues,” he said.
Yussof, who is also Jetama Chairman and Bengkoka Assemblyman, said the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah-led State Government under Hajiji is implementing various programmes and development plans for the benefit of the people and Sabah.

“With the cooperation of all, Hajiji’s governance will be able to fulfil the wishes and expectations of the people, and achieve the goals,” he said.
He also urged all Mubarak members in Sabah to come forward to provide their latest information such as personal data and that of their spouses, children and beneficiaries.
He said the organisation was in the midst of collecting the data to facilitate them to be issued with new identification cards from the State Assembly.
“Once we have all these information from all our members, we will pass them to the DUN office to be processed and recorded prior to the issuance of the new cards.”
