Muji has introduced a new makeup collection in the Philippines, with the line available exclusively at its SM Aura branch.
Carrying the theme “Natural and Healthy Look,” the collection includes products designed to complement the wearer’s natural skin tone. According to MUJI, the line features base makeup intended to enhance the skin’s natural color, while lip products come in what it describes as “summer-kissed candy colors.”
The collection includes face products such as a powder foundation with a matte finish, SPF 30 PA+ protection and ceramides, as well as loose and pressed finishing powders with UV protection. A four-color gradient cheek color and a highlighter are designed to add dimension and radiance to the face.
For the eyes, the lineup includes blendable eye shadows, a retractable eyebrow pencil, a gel eyeliner and a film-type mascara with a comb brush that separates and lifts lashes.
Lip products include a moisturizing, transfer-resistant lipstick and a lip essence formulated to help prevent dryness while adding shine. The collection also features a nail care oil designed to soften cuticles for gentle removal.
According to Muji, the products are designed to fit its Makeup Storage system through standardized packaging for easier storage and portability. They also contain moisturizing ingredients including jojoba seed oil, shea butter, apricot kernel oil and chamomile flower extract.
The collection was launched at Muji’s SM Aura branch, which opened as the retailer’s 12th store in the Philippines and its third in Bonifacio Global City after its locations at Central Square Mall and Uptown Mall.
The new branch also features a Coffee Counter with a dining area overlooking Bonifacio Global City.
Exclusive to the SM Aura branch are the Spanish Latte and Danish pastries. The Spanish Latte is available hot or iced and combines espresso, fresh milk and condensed milk, with an oat milk option available for an additional charge. The Danish pastries come in peach and blueberry varieties.
In addition to these exclusive items, the Coffee Counter offers drinks, bread, rice meals, soft-serve ice cream and pastries.
