Creating a home that feels organized and comfortable does not always require elaborate design. For Muji Philippines, the idea starts with simple, functional pieces that can adapt to everyday life — a philosophy now extended to shoppers in Quezon City through its new Eastwood store.
Muji Eastwood, the Japanese lifestyle retailer’s 13th Philippine store, opened Aug. 28 at the ground floor of the 1800 Building in Eastwood City, expanding the brand’s presence in one of Quezon City’s major commercial and residential hubs.
Spanning 984 square meters, the new store brings together Muji’s familiar approach to simple, functional design across products for the home and everyday life. Its selection includes furniture, household essentials, storage solutions, fabrics and bedding, alongside clothing, stationery, health and beauty items, bags and other lifestyle products.
For the home, the store offers pieces designed to work across different spaces and routines. Storage items can help organize everyday belongings, while furniture, fabrics and bedding allow shoppers to build a living space around practical needs.
Adapting to customers’ needs
The addition of the Eastwood branch also gives shoppers in the area easier access to Muji’s home-focused offerings, particularly for those looking for understated pieces that can adapt as their needs change.
One of the more practical services available at Muji Eastwood is its In-House Alterations service. Customers can have select clothing adjusted for a better fit and greater comfort, with simple shortening available for denim and chinos.
The store also carries Green Plants, offering shoppers simple options for bringing natural elements indoors.
The branch also became the first Muji location to offer the brand’s 2027 planners and calendars during its opening week. The collection subsequently became available at other Muji stores starting Sept. 2.
The planners and calendars are designed around different approaches to organizing schedules and routines. Monthly and weekly planners come in several layouts, including options with hourly schedules, daily task spaces and additional pages for notes. They are available in A6, A5, B6 and B5 sizes, with different cover styles and colors.
For workspaces and desks, Muji’s desktop calendars come in monthly and weekly formats, with horizontal and vertical layouts and an annual calendar for quick reference. Wall calendars, meanwhile, offer a simple way to keep track of the year at a glance.
Apparel, accessories
And while the store’s home selection gives the Eastwood branch a strong lifestyle focus, Muji’s concept extends well beyond the living room.
Shoppers can browse clothing and socks for men and women, as well as items for children and babies. The store also carries bags, health and beauty products and stationery, allowing customers to find everyday essentials alongside pieces for their homes.
The Eastwood store’s arrival comes as Muji continues to expand its footprint in the Philippines. The brand is exclusively distributed locally by Stores Specialists Inc., with existing locations in major shopping centers including Glorietta 3, SM Mall of Asia, Estancia Mall, Greenhills Mall, Festival Mall, SM North EDSA, Uptown Mall, Shangri-La Plaza, Greenbelt 3, Power Plant Mall, Central Square and SM Aura, as well as its online store.
Whether it is finding the right storage for a small space, refreshing a bedroom with new bedding or simply keeping everyday essentials within reach, Muji Eastwood offers products designed around the routines of daily life.
