Malaysian mum left heartbroken after son opens up

In the video, Mimi’s son could be heard asking if she was okay before opening up about how he had been struggling to sleep because his body was sore from sleeping in the car.

“Mum, are you okay? Aren’t you going to rent a house? My body hurts from sleeping in the car because I can’t sleep,” he said.

Meanwhile, Mimi shared in the caption that she understood where her son was coming from, adding that he must have been exhausted with their current living situation.

“He’s usually the one who finds it hardest to express himself or complain about anything. But when he says something like this, it means he’s really exhausted and has had enough. He’s also the type who doesn’t want to say anything to me because he doesn’t want me to feel sad.

“By the way, his stuttering is due to his speech delay. He’s been eating instant noodles almost every day too. But hearing him say this… sigh,” she wrote.

“There’s always a way through every problem”

Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Mimi shared that she and her son have since found a place to rent, after living in their car for nearly a month. However, the rental cost is still well above the budget she had initially set.

She also shared some words of advice for those who may be going through similar challenges:

“Get through whatever tests the Almighty has given you and always stay positive. There’s always a way through every problem. Whenever things feel difficult, turn to Allah and pour your heart out to Him.”
