KUALA LUMPUR – Putrajaya will continue the monthly My50 travel pass to benefit 180,000 bus and Prasarana rail users in the Klang Valley, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said when tabling Budget 2025 today.

Meanwhile, public transport company Prasarana Malaysia Bhd will provide van services for school students at selected train stations with a one-way fare of 50 sen,

Anwar also said the van service will begin at the Sri Rampai and Taman Melati LRT stations.

“Prasarana has procured 250 electric buses this year while the Transport Ministry has started to purchase 12 Keretapi Tanah Melayu Bhd (KTMB) train carriages.

“50 additional carriages will be obtained via lease through a bilateral cooperation with China,” he told the Dewan Rakyat today. – October 18, 2024
