Germany 2014 World Cup winner Thomas Müller is considering a switch of professions after the national team's sporting director Rudi Völler suggested he does "a small coaching course."
The 36-year-old ex-Bayern Munich stalwart is still playing for Vancouver Whitecaps, but has retired from internationals and is a TV pundit at the World Cup.
"Basically, I am open to and interested in a wide range of coaching paths," he told the t-online news portal on Friday.
Müller said he could "certainly imagine going through the programmes at federations or clubs."
He has also been linked in the media with a boardroom job back at Bayern. But first the Bavarian wants to "listen inside himself to see whether I miss something about the football business."
His future "does not necessarily have to have anything to do with football," he added.
