
NABAWAN: Amylia Easter was crowned the winner of Nabawan- and Pagalungan sub-district-level Unduk Ngadau competition held at the Open Hall of the District Council, here, recently.
The first and second runner-up titles were awarded to Velintinah Marcus and Genevieve Henri, respectively.
Amylia brought home RM5,000 in cash and a trophy, a bouquet, and certificate. Velintinah and Genevieve received RM4,000 and RM3,000, respectively, including trophies, bouquets and certificates.

The prize presentation ceremony was officiated by Datin Asiah Hj Azlan, the wife of Nabawan Assemblyman Datuk Abdul Ghani Mohamed Yassin.
There were 11 finalists who qualified for the district-level Unduk Ngadau competition.
The six finalists each received RM500 as consolation prizes.
