THE Paircargo Assessment Composite Division, a unit of the Bureau of Customs at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), recently announced it has surpassed its revenue target with P2.243 billion in collections for April.
It marked the division’s fourth consecutive month of exceeding its collection goals this year, despite global and local trade challenges, including supply chain disruptions and fluctuating market conditions.
It received another certificate of commendation honoring its revenue achievement and its professionalism in carrying out customs operations.
The division handles the assessment, processing, and clearance of air cargo shipments, including 24/7 services for time-sensitive goods.
Leading the division is Special Deputy Collector Siegfred Manaois, with Assistant Special Deputy Collector Irene Moreno Concio.
NAIA District Collector Maria Yasmin Obillos-Mapa has also been credited for translating national directives into effective on-ground strategies that continue to deliver measurable gains.
Beyond collections, the Paircargo Assessment Composite Division has also intensified efforts to streamline cargo assessment procedures to help facilitate faster and more transparent trade transactions.
The division said its sustained accomplishments align with the modernization and revenue-generation agenda of Customs Commissioner Ariel Nepomuceno, who has pushed for more efficient and technology-driven customs operations nationwide.
