Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis is confident of success with coach Rudi Garcia.
De Laurentiis hired Garca this summer after title-winning coach Luciano Spalletti stepped down at the end of last season.
He said: "He is an extraordinary person who gives and takes. There is a mutual exchange, as in my opinion there must be between club and coaching part.
"We are still in an ancient football where it is believed that the keys to the whole must be given to the sporting part.
"Instead, the whole is part of a whole that belongs to the club and the sporting part.
"This is a belief of mine that I always try to convey - and that sometimes I see that it doesn't happen in our team but also in the others. There is always a sort of rivalry or contrast between the coaching part and the corporate, which then generates misunderstandings that there shouldn't be because then they are all employed in Calcio Napoli, at the service of a city, of a team of fans that is very extensive and demanding."
