Ecuador's Jhonatan Narváez won the 11th stage of the Giro d'Italia on Wednesday, his third daily victory in the race this year.
After the 195 kilometre ride from Porcari and Chiavari, the 29-year-old beat Spaniard Enric Mas in a sprint finish on the Ligurian coast. Italian Diego Ulissi was third.
Portugual's Afonso Eulálio stayed in the overall lead, 27 seconds ahead of favourite and twice Tour de France champion Jonas Vingegaard of Denmark.
A similar stage awaits the cyclists on Thursday, a relatively flat 175km route from Imperia to Novi Ligure with two small climbs near the end. The race finishes in Rome on May 31.
