- Forest Green Rovers owner Dale Vince has confirmed the club will not immediately recruit a new manager following the departure of Robbie Savage.
- The National League side will instead try something new by allowing their existing coaching staff to take charge of the team.
- Coaches Josh Bowen, Yan Klukowski and Jonathan Gould are currently overseeing first-team duties following Savage's exit for League One side Peterborough.
- Vince stated that the club are in no hurry to conduct interviews and will monitor the interim coaching setup over the next few games.
- The decision comes despite Forest Green suffering a 4-2 defeat against Hartlepool, which extended their winless run to five matches.
