Indian Civil Accounts Service (ICAS) officer of the 2014 batch Navneet Kumar has been appointed on Special Duty (OSD) to Ashwini Vaishnaw in the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology.
According to an order issued by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet, Kumar’s appointment has been approved at the Deputy Secretary level for a period of four years.
The tenure will be effective from the date he assumes charge of the post and will continue for four years, or on a co-terminus basis with the minister’s tenure, or till he ceases to be OSD to the minister, or until further orders are issued, whichever is earlier.
