MANILA, Philippines—The National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) and the Philippine Postal Corporation (PhlPost) on Friday launched a new set of commemorative stamps for Holy Week.
The stamps feature the Stations of the Cross, with a total of 14 stamps—each representing one station.
Speaking at the NCCA’s inaugural lenten cultural recollection, NCCA Chairman and Executive Director Eric Zerrudo said the stamps serve as a visual reminder of how faith has long been embedded in Filipino culture.
“These stamps will serve as proof and as a visual reminder of our faith and culture,” he said.
The stamps will be made available to the public next week, in time for the Holy Week observation.
