Nelly Korda is in a great position to win her second LPGA Tour event of the 2026 season at the Aramco Championship on Sunday in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The Aramco Championship is being held at the famous Shadow Creek Golf Club – widely considered to be the most expensive golf course to play in the world.
Korda‘s game seems to be perfectly suited to the tricky challenge that Shadow Creek presents, and she will enter the final round on Sunday two shots adrift of the current leader, Lauren Coughlin.
After a challenging 2025 season on the LPGA Tour, the 27-year-old has come out all guns blazing in 2026.

Korda is widely regarded as one of the best swingers of the club in the professional game.
And the Floridian looks like she’s on a real mission to dominate this season, just like she did in 2024.
Nelly Korda speaks out ahead of the Aramco Championship final round
The current world number two will be desperate to record her second victory of 2026 on Sunday in Las Vegas.
Korda responded when asked by reporters on Saturday to share her feelings on her third round 69.
“Yeah, Shadow definitely showed its colors today, or the last couple days,” Korda admitted.
“It’s been playing brutal, just especially the back nine, too. I mean, you saw — there was like a four-group wait on a par-3. It was hard to stop golf balls for us.
“So up just kind of praying it was just going to go long or you were actually going for a miss of the green there. Yeah, very happy with my round. These rounds are kind of sometimes even mentally the hardest, so stayed in it quite well.
“Tomorrow is just going to be another beast of a day. You just kind of have to roll with the punches from Shadow.“

Korda will be looking to match her third round of 69 on Sunday and given the difficulty of Shadow Creek, that may well be enough for her to get the job done.
Nelly Korda on whether 2026 could be just like 2024
After her third round, Korda was asked whether her start to the 2026 season has reminded her of how she was playing in 2024.
“No, I mean, I had a few more wins under my belt at this time,“ the 27-year-old said.
“I’m just playing really good golf. I have always worked really, really hard, but I’m proud of the work that I’ve put in the past few weeks when I had off and didn’t go to Asia when the Tour was there.
“I just feel refreshed, happy. I’m excited to compete. Last year was just a weird year where stuff was just not going my way by like centimeters. That wears on you, and that’s why I like taking like longer breaks.
“So I’m very excited to come back and compete. And that’s what I did before these three events, is I took a break after I won at Nona and I felt refreshed and happy.
“I was excited every single day to go out, even if it was to the gym or to the golf course and work on my craft.“
Nelly Korda possesses such a fantastic attitude and that should stand her in great stead heading into the final round of the Aramco Championship on Sunday.
