KOTA KINABALU: A netizen has cautioned others when eating at a restaurant here after being charged RM50 for a squid in his meal.
The Facebook user under the “Hussin TJ Abdullah” handle had recently posted a picture of a plate of rice with a squid dish and vegetables and a receipt amounting to RM75 worth of food.
The user also mentioned the name of the restaurant, which is located inside a shopping mall.
“Be careful if you eat here as they put the prices indiscriminately. I am not the only one who suffers like this as others have suffered like me,” he said in the post.

The post then received various reactions from netizens, with most being furious and surprised by the price of the squid on the receipt.
Some suggested he report it to the Domestic Trade and Costs of Living Ministry (KPDN) hotline for further action.
