New Al-Ettifaq coach Steven Gerrard is convinced by the potential of the Saudi Pro League.
The Liverpool legend was named Al-Ettifa coach last week after initially hesitating on taking the job.
However, Gerrard is now convinced and excited about the SPL's potential.
"The Saudi League can become one of the best leagues in the world," said Gerrard. "We all have the ambition to continue to grow this competition.
"The club has excellent people within it, when I arrived here I felt at hom."
