Get your cowboy boots and hats ready, Marella Cruises is bringing its popular country music cruise back in 2027.
Sailing aboard Marella Explorer, guests can expect a range of country themed activities including a barn dance bash, country-themed shows and line dancing classes.
The new “Country Rhythms” cruises departs from Malaga on 11 November 2027 and will be adult-only.
Passengers can choose from a four-night sailing through Gibraltar to Puerto del Rosario in Fuerteventura and finishing in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria or can stay an extra night and disembark in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
Prices will start from £749 per person and bookings open from 2 July 2026.
All sailings will include Tui flights from six regional airports (London Gatwick, Bristol, Manchester, Newcastle, Glasgow and Belfast.)
Marella Cruises hosted its first “Country Rhythms” cruise earlier this year, featuring a Dolly Parton impersonator.
Chris Hackney, chief executive at Marella Cruises, said: “Following strong demand for our first “Country Rhythms” themed cruise in February 2026, and successful booking results in its first year, we’re excited to bring it back for a second season in winter 2027.
“These impressive stats from our first country-themed cruise, alongside our market research, have shown that our new and existing customers are keen to explore new themed cruises involving beloved country music combined with our all-inclusive and end-to-end cruise offering. We’re excited to announce more news in the future for Country Rhythms 2027, so stay tuned.”
If you can’t wait that long, Ambassador Cruise Line offers a country music themed sailing headlined by Nashville actor and musician Sam Palladio.
The four-night cruise, departing from London Tilbury in Essex on 25 March 2027, will host themed events including country music quizzes, silent discos and fitness sessions as well as line dancing classes and open mic sessions for aspiring singer-songwriters.
Tribute acts to Johnny Cash, Shania Twain, Lainey Wilson and Luke Combs will perform, alongside bands including The Charmed and Britt & The Backbeat. Meanwhile, the traditional cruise formal night will be replaced by a “Denim & Diamonds” evening.
