
SANDAKAN: Parti Impian Sabah (PIS) will be contesting solo in the upcoming 17th State Election (PRN17).
Its Secretary General Roslan Madali said PIS would use its own party symbol in the election.
“Despite being a new party, we have recruited approximately 70,000 members throughout Sabah in just a few months.
“Many of our members are young professionals who want reforms in government,” he said at a PIS dinner with Sandakan media practitioners.

During the event, he also introduced PIS Elopura division head Jeffery Chung.
Jeffery, who is also Chief Coordinator of East Coast Zone 5, said PIS is well known now although it was officially registered only at the end of 2023.
He said PIS would field a young and talented candidate for the Elopura seat in the PRN17.
