New Reform councillor forgets which party he’s representing in victory speech

This is the moment a Reform UK councillor forgot which party he represented after his election in Peterborough.

Speaking following his win as a councillor in Stanground South on Friday (8 May), Peter Reeve told press: “Our message is: ‘UKIP’s here, working hard with local communities.’”

Mr Reeve, who used to represent UKIP as their group leader on Huntingdonshire District Council, quickly corrected himself, adding: “I’ve been doing this for the last 15 years from the UKIP days all the way to Reform.”
