Kota Kinabalu: Newly-appointed Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) Vice Chancellor Prof Datuk Dr Kasim Mansor vowed to continue the programmes initiated by all his predecessors to bring the university to greater heights at national and international levels.
Dr Kasim took over the helm as the seventh vice chancellor from Prof Dr Taufiq Yap Yun Hin who held the position for three years said he will used all the experiences he gained to further enhance UMS as the centre of excellence. UMS is now ranked as the fourth best from out of 20 public universities nationwide.
