Newcastle United new boy Alexander Isak has suffered a setback in his recovery from a thigh injury.
The Swedish attacker was expected to lead the line for the Magpies this season.
Isak was signed for a record £60 million from Real Sociedad in the summer transfer window.
However, the Daily Mail states that the Swedish striker pulled up in training from the same thigh injury that had previously kept him out of action.
He is now likely to miss the next three games, at a minimum, having only featured three times for the club this season.
Manager Eddie Howe will be hoping that Isak is fully fit and raring to go after the World Cup this winter.
