Newcastle boss Eddie Howe has heaped praise on Emil Krafth.
The Sweden defender has returned from long-term injury and is off contract in June.
"Emil has never let me down. He has come back from a long-term injury and it was a very tough one," he told the Chronicle.
"It was that type of injury that caused him to be isolated a lot. He's worked with the medical team, but he's the type to always do his job. He is very diligent, and is now back. He has looked really good physically.
"After a tough injury there are always question marks. His strength and speed are obvious, and I have been very happy with his efforts, he has been fantastic."
