Newcastle United co-owners Jamie Reuben and Mehrdad Ghodoussi were proud of their draw at AC Milan.

The Toon earned a 0-0 draw at San Siro stadium for their opening Champions League group game.

Reuben and Ghodoussi were in attendance last night and took to social media to reflect on the match.

Reuben tweeted: "Strong point away from home - thank you to our traveling supporters for making the long journey."

Ghodoussi added: "We came, we saw, and then took a point #wewerethegladiators."

The Magpies now welcome PSG and Borussia Dortmund to St James' Park in successive home group games.
