Newcastle United are interested in VfL Wolfsburg midfielder Felix Nmecha.
The former Germany U21 international is expected to be on the move this summer with several major clubs keen.
Sky Deutschland says Newcastle are interested, but will face competition from Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund, which are both eager to strengthen their midfield options.
Nmecha is a former Manchester City trainee and has two years to run on his VfL contract.
VfL are seeking 25m to sell the youngster this summer.
