Newcastle United midfielder Joelinton admits having second thoughts about his move after a first season in England.
The former striker from Hoffenheim has bee successfully converted into a midfielder by manager Eddie Howe.
"I did think maybe this wasn't my place and that I should go somewhere else," Joelinton told the Daily Mail. "Sometimes that's the easy way. But you have to be resilient so I chose that. I am glad now that I did."
On Howe, he says: "He's a genius, of course!
"He is to me, anyway."
