Southampton's asking price for Tino Livramento could be scuppering a move away from the club.
The Saints are willing to sell the exciting young right-back, but only on their terms.
Per The Telegraph, Southampton will only accept fees higher than 30 million for the former Chelsea youth team star.
However, Newcastle only want to pay around two thirds of that figure and believe their bid is reasonable.
The two clubs have not been able to reach a compromise so far on the fee.
Livramento does want to make the move, but may have to stay at the Saints for another season if nothing changes.
