Newcastle United are eager to sign Bayer Leverkusen winger Moussa Diaby.
The French flyer has been linked to a host of Premier League clubs in the past few months.
According to The Mirror, Newcastle are the only club willing to pay the high fee that Leverkusen are seeking.
The Magpies are willing to pay up to £50 million, as they believe Diaby can take them to the next level at the front of the pitch.
Aside from Diaby, Newcastle are also linked to Dominic Calvert-Lewin from Everton.
The St. James' Park stadium club have secured center-half Sven Botman from Lille.
