Newcastle United striker Callum Wilson is surprised seeing Cristiano Ronaldo benched at Manchester United.
Wilson insists Ronaldo should be an automatic starter.
"If you have Ronaldo in your club, you play the guy," Wilson told the Footballer's Football podcast.
"He scored just over 20 goals last season and is still in great shape. That's what I don't understand. If your philosophy is to press from the attack and that's why you don't go with Ronaldo, then put someone else in to make the extra runs for him.
"He is an attacking weapon that they are lucky to have. I think he will stay until the end of the season and end up as United's top scorer."
