Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo has won praise from Manchester City fans for his actions before Sunday's derby kickoff.
Ronaldo was left on the bench as United were thrashed 6-3 at the Etihad.
Video footage has since emerged of the United forward, who nearly signed for City last season before he returned to Old Trafford, showing him side-stepping the home club's badge on the carpet near to the players' entrance as the visitors walked into the stadium.
