Newcastle United have launched a club record bid for Napoli star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
TMW says Newcastle have offered 95m for the 22-year-old Georgia international.
Newcastle is now waiting for a response from Napoli. However, there's an expectation Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis will reject the proposal.
In Napoli's favour is they have Kvaratskhelia on a long-term deal to 2027 and new contract talks have been opened.
In total, he played 42 matches for the Serie A title winners last season, scoring 14 goals and making 17 assists.
