TAWAU: Some 50 orphans and underprivileged children were treated to new Raya clothes at a clothing boutique here on Sunday.
This was made possible thanks to initiatives by the Persatuan Jalinan Kasih Harapan Rakyat Sabah (PJKHRS).
Its Chairman, Sammie Liew, said the programme was organised to help parents and guardians prepare for the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration.
She said this is the first time her non-governmental organisation held such a programme focusing on 50 selected children and families.“We are excited to see the young recipients choose Raya clothes according to their own preferences and tastes,” she said.
