SEREMBAN — Negeri Sembilan FC (NSFC) has named former Selangor FC coach Mohd Nidzam Jamil as head coach for the 2025/2026 season.
NSFC chairman Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun said the appointment of the 45-year-old reflects the club’s commitment to strengthening preparations and steering the team in a more progressive and sustainable direction.
“Mohd Nidzam is a well-respected figure in Malaysian football, both as a former national player and an accomplished coach,” he said in a statement today.
“His experience in youth development and modern tactical systems is expected to enhance NSFC’s competitiveness in the increasingly challenging Super League.”
Aminuddin also announced the signings of several key players, including striker Luqman Hakim Shamsudin, goalkeeper Muhd Azri Abd Ghani, and defender Ahmad Khuzaimi Piee.
“As part of our long-term strategic plan, NSFC is prioritising the development of local talent, particularly young players from Negeri Sembilan. They will be supported by the coaching team and senior players to ensure well-rounded guidance both on and off the pitch,” he added.
To further strengthen the squad, Aminuddin said the club is finalising its foreign player signings, with an announcement expected soon.
“The inclusion of foreign players will complete the team’s structure, providing a balance of international experience, on-field leadership, and technical quality to raise our overall standard of play,” he said. — June 13, 2025
