The Nissan Kicks e-Power was launched at the Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show 2024.
After years of teasing, Malaysia finally has the Nissan Kicks e-Power. It was launched earlier today at the Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show 2024. Two variants are available at launch, the VL at RM113,800 and VLT at RM121,800. There’s also an option for a black roof for RM4,000 on the VLT variant. The first 500 customers will get an RM5,000 debate and a 2-year extension of the battery warranty.
The VLT adds on two-tone (brown-black) leather for the seats (brown is also on the door cards and dash), a 360-degree around view monitor, intelligent rear view mirror (LCD screen with camera), active cruise control, blind spot warning and rear cross traffic alert. You can have the VLT in two-tone paint as well; count this in and there are three variants in total.
In terms of powertrain, these two are identical. The wheels are driven exclusively by a front-mounted electric motor with an output of 129PS and 280Nm of torque. This motor gets its power from a tiny 2.06 kWh battery which gets charged by a 1.2L HR12DE 3-cylinder naturally aspirated engine.
0-100km/h takes just 9.5 seconds and the fuel consumption is 21.7km per litre. There’s one-pedal driving and 3 drive modes plus an EV mode that allows the car to be driven up to 40km/h with the petrol engine off for a short distance.

The Nissan Kicks e-Power comes with a 5-year/100,000km for the whole car and an 8-year/160,000km warranty for the battery, ECU, inverter and electric motor.
