Kota Kinabalu: Assistant Minister to the Chief Minister Datuk Nizam Abu Bakar Titingan refuted Sabah Umno Information Chief Datuk Suhaimi Nasir’s claims that the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) government failed to bring progress to the state.

He said infrastructure projects, including road construction, clean water supply and electricity, are already showing positive progress and receiving strong support from the people.

“The State Government continues to focus on infrastructure development and public facilities, particularly essential services like water and electricity,” he said.

He said the substantial allocation of RM2.63 billion in the 2024 State Budget, with RM1.72 billion designated for the Public Works Ministry and its departments, reflected the Government’s commitment.
