
MANILA, Philippines — Robert Bolick led NLEX’s whirlwind third quarter offense as the Road Warriors rolled past Terrafirma Dyip, 95-85 to keep their PBA Season 50 Commissioner’s Cup top 4 bid on Saturday at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.
After being limited to three points on just 1-of-4 attempts along with four turnovers, Bolick came alive, especially in the third canto where he erupted for 13 points to lead NLEX to a backbreaking 34-9 exchange.
That massive scoring burst enabled the Road Warriors to turn the tables against the Dyip, who dropped their sixth straight game since getting off to a 3-0 conference start.
Bolick went on to finish with 20 points, seven rebounds and six assists for NLEX, which improved to 7-2 overall and reclaim solo second spot.
Rookie LJay Gonzales also sparkled with 16 points, eight boards and five assists. JB Bahio also scored 16, while import Cady Lalanne overcame a 5-of-19 field goal shooting to finish with 15 markers, 13 boards and three blocks.
Maverick Ahanmisi led Terrafirma with 22 points , eight rebounds and six assists, his younger brother Jerrick added 13, while import Ali Mubashar had a quiet 10 markers on 3-of-13 shooting, with 10 boards.-
