
Kota Kinabalu: There was no electricity supply rationing in Sabah and Labuan on Wednesday.
Sabah Electricity Sdn Bhd Sabah and Labuan Grid System Operator General Manager Adrian Mosigil said the energy supply capacity was estimated at 1,095MW with maximum demand expected to reach up to 1,030MW.
“SESB still has a margin reserve of 65MW as energy supply stock in the event of an emergency or excess demand during the period.
“Therefore, the implementation of electricity supply rationing today is predicted not to happen,” he said in a statement, Wednesday.

Read more According to Adrian, there was no supply rationing implemented on Tuesday with the maximum energy demand reported at 1,046MW at 2.30pm.
