KUALA LUMPUR – Pakatan Harapan (PH) chairman Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim says that there are no unreasonable conditions made by Barisan Nasional (BN) to get the support to form a government.
He said the initial discussion with BN’s leadership only touched on the importance to form a stable government.
"There was virtually no condition except the condition of unity to focus on the economy.
"Of course, they must have adequate representation. At any coalition, every party must be represented, that's all.
"There is no unreasonable condition," he told reporters during a press conference.
Anwar had also reiterated that the judicial body shall remain free when he was asked to comment on what would happen to BN president Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi’s court case if the two coalitions merged to form a unity government.
He said the court and the government were separate entities.
